Daniel Alsina
Qualified as an architect at the UPC (ETSAV school) in 2001 and has studied a course at the University of Texas, at Arlington. After 10 years of working as Head of Projects at the COCHRAN studio, he joined the City Council as a representative of the public company BIMSA (Barcelona d’Infraestructures Municipals SA) in various districts, at various times, including the Eixample, Sants-Montjuïc, Sant Andreu and Sant Martí. Since 2017, he has been responsible for the “Barcelona Superblock” and “Protecting Schools” projects, as the Assistant Director of Projects at BIMSA. Since the creation of the Barcelona Superblock Technical Office in 2020, he has been the Coordinator for the Area of Urban Ecology.
