© Oladosu Adenike

Oladosu Adenike is an ecofeminist, climate justice leader and an ecoreporter. She specializes in peace, security and equality in Africa especially the Lake Chad region. She is the founder of ILead Climate Action Initiative, a Pan-African movement.  Also, she is fighting for the restoration of Lake Chad and by doing so, is working to restore the livelihoods of millions, while resisting local proliferation of violence and the erosion of women’s rights. She’s a recipient of the Amnesty International Nigeria’s Ambassador of Conscience Award. She was once a spokerperson to CARE Int. UK on gender and climate change. She has showcased her climate action in local and international fora – as a Nigerian youth delegate at COP25 and COP26. In 2019, she was invited for the first United Nations Youth Summit in New York. Adenike has also been invited by Illinois college department of African studies for a convocation talk program to new students.
